Trending: Scooting Around the Town

The Scooter. It may not be new, but it is certainly on the rise with fashionistas. I mean it is smart. Easier parking, Save money on gas have more money to buy clothes…. and it allows for more visibility of your adorable attire rather than being covered by your vehicle. Aside from a little helmut hair, perfect. Sound reasoning right?

Well it made sense to me. So, I decided to try out this chic mode of transportation myself. My findings?… Yes, I think I may need one. Especially so I can try out some of the scooter fashion finds I posted above.

Until then, here’s a little imagery from my experience parading the city on my little red rent-a-scooter!

Daytime Sparkle

Sparkles are everywhere this season. And why not? It’s the perfect way to liven up a neutral. If it’s not being paired with a neon, nude is a great base for a little pop of sparkle. As the experts are all saying this spring, it is all about thinking positive. We see positive reflections on the runway being carried out in sorbet colors and large floral prints. Or in this case a little glimmer of sequins in an easy sleeveless sweater.

Of course, I kept it casual. The knit material of the top toned down the flash of the sequins. Boy friend jeans, sporty platform wedges and a vintage Dooey and Bourke bag carried out that easy feeling. As for jewelry, the sparkle in the top is just nearly enough, I only added a simple nude cocktail ring.
